Keith is an experienced and dedicated music educator. He has been sharing his passion for music with students at Rotolo Middle School in Batavia, Illinois, a seven-time NAMM Best Community for Music Education, since 2001. Keith currently co-teaches band and orchestra, directs the Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band, and incorporates technology into his students' learning. In addition to his work at the middle school level, Keith also teaches graduate courses at VanderCook College of Music. He has presented at numerous professional development events for music educators, including The Midwest Clinic, the Virginia Music Educators Association, the Illinois Music Educators Conference, VanderCook College of Music, and the Association of Middle-Level Educators. Keith's dedication to teaching has been recognized through various awards, including the Chicagoland Outstanding Music Educator award in 2015, two "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" awards, and an "Exemplary Educator Award" from the Batavia CANDO parent organization. He was also inducted into the Nazareth Academy High School Fine Arts Hall of Fame in 2018. Keith is a member of the American School Band Directors Association, National Band Association, and Illinois Music Education Association.
